I'm also not a fan of souls-like unforgiving gameplay, but the first one wasn't that bad. I think I spent my skill points wrong already, but I see there's a reset skill tree thingy, but I don't want to do that yet. I'm having problems with wall running - I keep wanting to double-press the button. I haven't turned on the slow-down-combat setting, so its OK. Good challenges to them, and so far, my lack of speed hasn't penalized me in the game. It makes me want to keep a Galactic Basic language chart near me so I can read all the signs. I'm playing on the prettiest display settings, and there's so much detail. So far, the game has been visually stunning. You can turn off fall damage! You can turn off fall damage! Praise be, I die so much, now I don't lose progress from it. There's also an option in the settings to slow down the gameplay during battle! I guess LucasArts is recognizing its fanbase is getting older. I've waited for this change for most of my life, and I'm so damn happy its here.ΔΆ. I can't tell you how freakin' thrilled I am that one of the first gameplay options is the ability to turn off the camera shake that causes motion sickness. I'm starting with this one, so I may be missing some lore. I'm on X-box, and I understand there are some PC differences. And since I'm Old and Slow, this will take a little bit to do. So, I fell into the hype, and decided to try out Star Wars: Jedi Survivor.
